EXPLAIN A WEBSITE
CONCEPT: Record a screencast as you annotate a website.
DELIVERY: Explain Everything's lesser known cousin, Explain A Website does just what it says on the tin. Featuring a streamlined version of the EE interface, users have highlighter and pen tools at their disposal as well as a built-in laser pointer for live presentation. Handily the annotations move with the page you are on if you scroll.
Recording is equally simple and export options include Dropbox, Youtube and the camera roll. There is also the ability to export the annotations as a PDF which means they could be printed as a part of a project book for example. You can even import EAW from Dropbox, allowing for collaborative work.
LIMITATIONS: For what it does, none really, though you could always screen grab pages from a site and just use them in Explain Everything. Not quite the same though!
CONCLUSION: Explain A Website is a simple premise, delivered effectively. 4/5 4/5
