CONCEPT: A split screen tool that allows users to browse two internet sites simultaneously.
DELIVERY:An interesting concept allowing users to access more than one screen on their device at the same time using the split screen function. Accessing the internet allowing students to watch a video whilst reading an article, catering for the way in which students now focus on multiple content at the same time.
With a pinch zoom function students have limited control over each side of the screen which operate completely independently of each other. The speed of each site remains consistent even when both sites are playing simultaneous videos.
LIMITATIONS: The screen is only split in two, and those screen sizes cannot be changed. More control over the layout of each of the would be desirable. Of course this is the first step in split screen functioning. It would be fantastic to have the ability to split screen more than one app.
CONCLUSION: A basic app that does exactly as it sets out to do but with limited control over the screen in front of the student.
